CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Charles Anderson:
This class's approach to rhythm, timing, space, pause and flow explores movement styles informed and inspired by an array of contemporary styles as well as neo-traditional African and African American aesthetic forms.
Eun Jung Choi-Gonzalez:
Moving through TRANSITIONS to understand connectivity, students will dance at their fullest potential while using space, high physicality, and depth in the performing body.
Jeffrey Gunshol:
This class focuses on fluidity, performance, musicality, athleticism, and lines as they relate to basic traditional ideas of dance technique.
Jaamil Olawale Kosoko:
Pulling from the latest moves in bastardized hip-hop MTV dance, students will rock, pop and lock to the hottest video remixes to ever kill a radio star.
Megan Mazarick:
A righteous blend of athleticism and good humor, this class will serve generous helpings of upside down, inside out, and forward rewind.
Olive Prince:
Through dynamic movement patterns and interludes of improvisation, this class will investigate momentum, flow, and precision in contemporary techniques. Students will be encouraged to take risks and explore how the body moves from the inside out.
Gabrielle Revlock:
This is a contemporary movement class. You will move. You will make choices. You will find precision.
