Claire

Choreographer/Director Melanie Stewart and Composer/Lyricist team Dan Martin and Michael Biello revisit their 1996 Dance/Theater collaboration Claire One womans tale of obsessive love and spiritual healing.

Starring Janet Pilla as Claire - a phone psychic who channels spells to heal her clients of their love obsessions while battling her own obsession with the elusive Lucky With live piano and vocal accompaniment by Dan Martin in the role Claires inner voice(s).

Claire effectively draws you into an offbeat mystic world to explore the nature of human relationship, and to affirm New Age beliefs, albeit in irreverent fashion.

A Simple Fact of Pain

Meghan Durham, Bethany Formica, and Janet Pilla continue to forge the trio-de-force, a political satire that targets good ol American avarice and greed. Written by Obie-Awarding winning director John Clancy and Directed by Melanie Stewart.

...in this piece, affective political satire and bawdy social commentary, Meghan Durham, Bethany Formica, and the glorious Janet Pilla get riddled with machine gun fire one minute and are an Isadora-esque ethereal trio the next.
